THIS BOOK IS DECEPTIVE!
By Don Snyder
When I chose this small 6x8 book from the shelf, I was looking for a quick read that would help up my average of books read for the year. I flipped through it and saw that it was less than 180 pages, each 'chapter' was only 2 pages long and dealt with a single very specific point. I thought to myself "I ought to be able cruise through this during the weekend" and bought it -- but the darn thing completely fooled me!
I found myself reading each of the short chapters at least twice, and the concepts shared by author Gayle Lantz challenged me at the end of each chapter by asking me questions that actually made me (gasp!) think about what I was reading and how it applied to ME.
This book gets a big "RECOMMEND" for any leader looking for a little introspection about their business and themselves -- along with suggestions and tools to take action and improve their current situation.

Leadership Tips to Treasure
By Passionman
This is a gem of a book. Beautifully presented, with the use of colour, cartoons, space and the occasional larger text adding oomph to each message. The content is cleverly arranged, focusing on one tip a week for the busy executive - from energizing the team to taking a break. Some of the tips may seem self-evident, but when grouped together they develop a cumulative impact. The way that Gayle Lantz juxtaposes what the executive needs to do for the business and for him/herself works well. An ideal gift for the aspiring leader.
