5A Great book for home improvement projects!
By European Book Treasurer
It turned to be very useful for us - first time homeowners. Our house was a foreclosure, so there were tons of things to fix about it. This book has information on basic repairs such as repairing a light fixture, fixing pipes, replacing toilets, installing faucets, painting tips, new floor installation, gutters, etc. etc. The photos are detailed, description is simple. We definitely recommend it.

5Well worth its price!
By J. Wentz
If you are a new home-owner or somebody who is not confident in basic repairs, this book is perfect! Each section includes step by step instructions with color photos. At the beginning of each repair is a labeled color photo of all the tools and supplies you'll need to do the job.

What I love most about this book is that it covers not only simple repairs like replacing an outlet, but even covers how to fix squeaky floors or to tune up a garage door. I've never had much experience doing my own repairs, but this book has greatly built my confidence and has me always looking forward to the next project.

5Homeowner basics made simple
By Free CK
Of the basics books I've seen, this one may cover fewer projects, but it covers them with background info/detail many others don't.
