4Great Magazine.
By Harriss Bisby
I ordered a subscription to this magazine with a gift certificate I got for my birth day. There are lots of excellent stories in it, as well as some I didn't like all that much. One of my favorite stories was Spacer's Gamble, by Josepha Sherman which appeared in the spring 2010 issue. The illustrations in this Magazine are pretty neat too. The only thing I don't like about this magazine is the fact that only 4 issues a year are published.

5One of the Few Print Sci Fi and Related Genre Mags Left
By C. Richard
Once upon a time there were lots of Sci Fi, Fantasy and Horror magazines in print. OK, many were pulps, but they were cheap and often lots of fun. They also gave a lot of people a chance to express themselves and entertain others.

There are not too many of these print magazines left. Sure there are many online now, but call me old and out of touch, but it is so much more satisfying to read something in paper format. As a librarian said to me just this week when I complained that my favorite magazines at the library were no longer available in print format there - but you can see them online here. I said thanks, but no thanks. She said, I know what you mean - online is fine to look stuff up and for email, but for real reading, print is better. I agree.

Anyway, I say let's support these print magazines. I hear this one has been going strong for 40 years too.
