I didn't want to have a 300 page book with endless examples of other peoples' cover letters that would confuse me more than anything. I wanted a book that would show me in a clear and simple way how to write my own cover letters. This one did just that. I've sent out the first wave and am confident in the product I learned to write myself.
I'm happy and for this price it's a definite bargain. Gotta love the wave of Kindle books.

I already own and have used the other two books in this series. As I've found them both to be well written and extremely useful, purchasing the third book in the series was a no brainer. Mayer's style of writing is easy to read, easy to understand, and easy to follow. The books are concise and full of helpful information. I had been ignoring the cover letter aspect of my job application, but no more. Now I know why I need one, understand how to write one and have in fact now written several. I have to say that I think it's made all the difference. I've had two job interviews and am really hoping that maybe now, I'll get a decent job. Thanks!

I've read Mayer's other 2 books on Career Essentials. I didn't think I needed this, but the other books were so helpful I decided to purchase it anyway. I'm glad I did. The cover letter is so important, one more tool that I'll need to get the best job I can find. I've been getting interview requests, and I know the advice in this book will get me more interviews. It's packed with information, and as in the other books, given in an easy to understand and follow way. With these low prices, I got much more than my money's worth.
