5Easy Peasy!
By A. Coughlin
The authors of this project book have made things easy for those of us who are not expert handymen or women. They've given unintimidating directions to hundreds of projects in ways that nearly anyone can understand and follow. Plenty of explanatory photos are included and the use of tools is thoroughly explained for those who are inexperienced. Included in the book are a large number of repairs, projects and improvements as diverse as installing a keyless door lock, wall mounting a quilt, sharpening a mower blade, rejuvenating kitchen cabinets, drilling into glass, installing a light dimmer, making a coat rack, fixing minor furnace problems, making a home healthier and much much more. There are certainly WAY too many for me to list here, but I would think that everyone would find more than a few projects that they would consider tackling.

While I don't quite believe the "no project over 4 hours" claim on the book's cover, the vast majority of the hundreds of projects here would very likely fall into that category and there's even a section of "15 minute fixes" that seems achievable by most of us who are less than handy or, possibly, lacking in either attention span or motivation. On those "too tired to tackle much of anything" days, at least we'd feel like we'd accomplished something! In addition to projects for every room in the house, a few minor car care projects are included, as well, a couple of which I may even try myself.

4101 awesome easy projects!
By Amy
this is a book perfectly suited to my likes. easy projects, many of which i could imagine Organizing, Decorating, and Rejuvenating my home... none of which that i will ever actually do. this doesn't bother me though - because, for me - READING about the projects and BELIEVING i could do them if i really wanted to IS the reason i love these books.
