Sweet Poison Spartame & Diet Soda

In October of 2001, my sister started getting very sick. She had stomach spasms and she was having a hard time getting around.
Walking was a major chore. It took everything she had just to get out of bed; she was in so much pain. By March 2002, she had undergone several tissue and muscle biopsies and was on 24 various prescription medications. The doctors could not determine what was wrong with her. She was in so much pain, and so sick she just knew she was dying. She put her house, bank accounts, life insurance, etc., in her oldest daughter's name, and made sure that her younger children were to be taken care of.
She also wanted her last hooray, so she planned a trip to Florida (basically in a wheelchair) for March 22nd. On March 19 I called her to ask how her most recent tests went, and she said they didn't find anything on the test, but they believe she had MS. I recalled an article a friend of mine e-mailed to me and I asked my sister if she drank diet soda? She told me that she did. As a matter of fact, she was getting ready to crack one open that moment. I told her not to open it, and to stop drinking the diet soda! I e-mailed her article my friend, a lawyer, had sent. My sister called me within 32 hours after our phone conversation and told me she had stopped drinking the diet soda AND she could walk! The muscle spasms went away. She said she didn't feel 100% but, she sure felt a lot better.
She told me she was going to her doctor with this article and would call me when she got home. Well, she called me, and said her doctor was amazed! He is going to call all of his MS patients to find out if they consumed artificial sweeteners of any kind. In a nutshell, she was being poisoned by the Aspartame in the diet soda...and literally dying a slow and miserable death. When she got to Florida March 22, all she had to take was one pill, and that was a pill for the Aspartame poisoning! She is well on her way to a complete recovery. And she is walking! No wheelchair! This article saved her life. If it says 'SUGAR FREE' on the label; DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! I have spent several days lecturing at the WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL CONFERENCE on 'ASPARTAME,' marketed as 'Nutra Sweet,' 'Equal,' and 'Spoonful.'

In the keynote address by the EPA, it was announced that in the United States in 2001 there is an epidemic of multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus. It was difficult to determine exactly what toxin was causing this to be rampant. I stood up and said that I was there to lecture on exactly that subject. I will explain why Aspartame is so dangerous: When the temperature of this sweetener exceeds 86 degrees F, the wood alcohol in ASPARTAME converts to formaldehyde and then to formic acid, which in turn causes metabolic acidosis. Formic acid is the poison found in the sting of fire ants. The methanol toxicity mimics, among other conditions, multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus. Many people were being diagnosed in error. Although multiple sclerosis is not a death sentence, Methanol toxicity is! Systemic lupus has become almost as rampant as multiple sclerosis, especially with Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi drinkers.

The victim usually does not know that the Aspartame is the culprit. He or she continues its use; irritating the lupus to such a degree that it may become a life-threatening condition. We have seen patients with systemic lupus become asymptotic, once taken off diet sodas. In cases of those diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, most of the symptoms disappear. We've seen many cases where vision loss returned and hearing loss improved markedly. This also applies to cases of tinnitus and fibromyalgia. During a lecture, I said, 'If you are using ASPARTAME (Nutra Sweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc) and you suffer from fibromyalgia symptoms, spasms, shooting, pains, numbness in your legs,Cramps, Vertigo, Dizziness, Headaches, Tinnitus, Joint pain, Unexplainable depression, anxiety attacks, slurred speech, blurred vision, or memory loss you probably have ASPARTAME poisoning!' People were jumping up during the lecture saying, 'I have some of these symptoms. Is it reversible?'
Yes! Yes! Yes! STOP drinking diet sodas and be alert for Aspartame on food labels! Many products are fortified with it! This is a serious problem. Dr. Espart (one of my speakers) remarked that so many people seem to be symptomatic for MS and during his recent visit to a hospice; a nurse stated that six of her friends, who were heavy Diet Cokeaddicts, had all been diagnosed with MS. This is beyond coincidence!
Diet soda is NOT a diet product! It is a chemically altered, multiple SODIUM (salt) and ASPARTAME containing product that actually makes you crave carbohydrates. It is far more likely to make you GAIN weight! These products also contain formaldehyde, which stores in the fat cells, particularly in the hips and thighs. Formaldehyde is an absolute toxin and is used primarily to preserve 'tissue specimens.' Many products we use every day contain this chemical but we SHOULD NOT store it IN our body! Dr. H. J. Roberts stated in his lectures that once free of the 'diet products' and with no significant increase in exercise; his patients lost an average of 19 pounds over a trial period.
Aspartame is especially dangerous for diabetics. We found that some physicians, who believed that they had a patient with retinopathy, in fact, had symptoms caused by Aspartame. The Aspartame drives the blood sugar out of control. Thus diabetics may suffer acute memory loss due to the fact that aspartic acid and phenylalanine are NEUROTOXIC when taken without the other amino acids necessary for a good balance.
Treating diabetes is all about BALANCE. Especially with diabetics, the Aspartame passes the blood/brain barrier and it then deteriorates the neurons of the brain; causing various levels of brain damage,Seizures, Depression, Manic depression, Panic attacks, Uncontrollable anger and rage. Consumption of Aspartame causes these same symptoms in non-diabetics as well.

Documentation and observation also reveal that thousands of children diagnosed with ADD and ADHD have had complete turnarounds in their behavior when these chemicals have been removed from their diet. So called 'behavior modification prescription drugs' (Ritalin and others) are no longer needed. Truth be told, they were never NEEDED in the first place! Most of these children were being 'poisoned' on a daily basis with the very foods that were 'better for them than sugar.' It is also suspected that the Aspartame in thousands of pallets of Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi consumed by men and women fighting in the Gulf War, may be partially to blame for the well-known Gulf War Syndrome. Dr. Roberts warns that it can cause birth defects, i.e. mental retardation, if taken at the time of conception and during early pregnancy. Children are especially at risk for neurological disorders and should NEVER be given artificial sweeteners.

There are many different case histories to relate of children suffering grand mal seizures and other neurological disturbances talking about a plague of neurological diseases directly caused by the use of this deadly poison.' Herein lies the problem: There were Congressional Hearings when Aspartame was included in 100 different products and strong objection was made concerning its use. Since this initial hearing, there have been two subsequent hearings, and still nothing has been done. The drug and chemical lobbies have very deep pockets.
Sadly, MONSANTO'S patent on Aspartame has EXPIRED! There are now over 5,000 products on the market that contain this deadly chemical and there will be thousands more introduced. Everybody wants a 'piece of the Aspartame pie.' I assure you that MONSANTO, the creator of Aspartame, knows how deadly it is. And isn't it ironic that MONSANTO funds, among others, the American Diabetes Association, the American Dietetic Association and the Conference of the American College of Physicians?
This has been recently exposed in the New York Times. These [organizations] cannot criticize any additives or convey their link to MONSANTO because they take money from the food industry and are required to endorse their products. Senator Howard Metzenbaum wrote and presented a bill that would require label warnings on products containing Aspartame, especially regarding pregnant women, children and infants. The bill would also institute independent studies on the known dangers and the problems existing in the general population regarding seizures, changes in brain chemistry, neurological changes and behavioral symptoms. The bill was killed. It is known that the powerful drug and chemical lobbies are responsible for this, letting loose the hounds of disease and death on an unsuspecting and uninformed public. Well, you're informed now!

Clueless, Car-less Millionaire MNAs Declare Their Peanuts

Jamshed Dasti a pauper; Maulana Attaur Rehman almost poor
ISLAMABAD: We may find them clueless at times but according to their own affidavits, the majority of our MNAs is also carless. Unbelievable as it may sound, but according to the annual statements of assets and liabilities filed with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), the majority of our Rolex-sporting and 10-carat ear-tops flaunting multi-millionaire members of the National Assembly don't even own a car, let alone any other mind dazzling assets.

Going by the filed statements, an overwhelming majority of our elected representatives is definitely way less financially blessed than most of us and appear people of modest means. But thank heavens for the exception of some who do own cars. President Asif Ali Zardari's close aide Farahnaz Ispahani has declared owning a BMW sedan (model 2007) worth $30,400. She stated in her declaration that her spouse (Ambassador Husain Haqqani) resides in the USA where most of the couple's assets are situated.

What A Way To Grab All For the Family, Mr Ambassador!

ISLAMABAD: The new Pakistani ambassador to Syria, appointed by President Zardari, has summarily sacked the entire staff and faculty of the Pakistan International School in Damascus and appointed almost all his immediate family members for a collective monthly salary of $38,000 (Rs3.2 million).

The sacked teachers and staff members of the school run by the embassy, who were removed for no reasons and without any prior notice, have been compelled to go into litigation against the Pakistan Embassy, The News has learnt.

The Pakistan International School in Damascus is run by the embassy of Pakistan but within five months after the arrival of new ambassador, Aminullah Raisani, in September 2009, the management and faculty of the school was changed altogether without giving any reason and the school was stuffed with the relatives of the ambassador.

According to the list of newly inducted teachers Saeeda Yasmeen Raeesani has been appointed as Principal. She is sister of the ambassador and is drawing $6,500 per month as salary while the previous principal Syed Tauseef Bokhari was getting $2,500. Another sister, Ms Abbas, has been appointed as Urdu teacher for $3,500 per month.

Two daughters, Amna Aminullah Raeesani and Quratulein Aminullah Raeesani, have been appointed as teachers. These two are getting $3,000 per month as salary while the school was paying only $1,700 for the same job to previous teachers.

Mohammad Ishaque, brother-in-law of the ambassador, has been appointed as accountant for $3,500 per month while the same job was previously with one Imran for just $900 a month.

Attique-ur-Rehman and Syed Muhammad Ali, ambassador's nephews, have been appointed as business teachers for $3,000 a month while the same job was done for $1,500 only before September 2009.

Nayla Atiq, granddaughter of ambassador's sister, is working as Maths teacher for $3,000 a month while her predecessor was drawing $1,700 a month as salary. Ali Abdullah, the son-in-law of ambassador's sister, and Muhammad Ahsan Shafique, ambassador's cousin, have been appointed as teachers for $3,000 a month while their predecessors were drawing $1,500 a month.Another cousin of the ambassador, Rasheed Chattha, has been appointed as biology teacher for $3,500 a month while previously Ms Manal Sileman was doing the same job for $1,500 a month.

Ms Manal Sileman, one of the Syrian teachers of the Pakistani school who has been sent home without giving any notice and without any reason, while talking to The News from Damascus on phone said that it was strange that an ambassador instead of running the affairs of the embassy was keen in the business of the school.

She lamented that the ambassador has imported Chinese shoes and made it mandatory for every student to purchase those shoes at much higher rates. She said that the school was being ruined as the new incompetent teachers have been hired for more than double the salaries the previous faculty was getting.

Another teacher Saad al Hassan said that he has gone to the court with a heavy heart because he has served the school and Pakistan and now the court will issue an order against the Republic of Pakistan.

He said that he has respect for the Pakistani nation but because of a few people he has been compelled to go into litigation against the embassy and according to the Syrian laws the Pakistan Embassy in Damascus could be heavily penalised.

Saad said that the school was rated among the best in Damascus and the elite, including the foreign minister of Syria and deputy foreign minister, had started sending their kids to the Pakistan International School of Damascus but with the advent of new administration many have opted for other schools in the city.

He said that last year the school won eight gold medals in the Cambridge examination and the income of the school in 2006 was US$2,042,400 per annum and it rose to $4,774,000 per annum in 2009 with the number of students almost doubled i.e. from 600 to 1,100.

Ambassador Aminullah Raisani was too busy to talk to this correspondent. However his spokesman Zahid Ali who works as Counsellor in the embassy denied all these allegations. He said that the previous management was incompetent that was why it was sent packing while competent people have now been inducted in the school.

Zahid said that it was not true that the newly appointed teachers were drawing more salaries than the previous management. "We write to the Foreign Office of Pakistan about our tasks here," Zahid replied when asked about some teachers going into litigation against the embassy.

How to Protect your Stolen Phone

With Mobile Phones getting fancier, popular, and more expensive by each passing day; these devices are increasingly exposed to theft cases. These thieves are normally interested in your cell phone, and don't show not interest over the data that is stored in your cellular phone. However, at times these

thieves or ultimately the new buyer of your stolen phone may access your crucial and very personal data. The situation may lead you towards a very depressing state leaving you with no option but to regret on better planning your personal data storage strategies.

Regardless of what measures should be considered in order to lessen these street crimes, I am going to focus on steps that may offer you least harms and damages even if you loose your cell phone. Let's start discussing the topic by focusing on each point

Backing Up Your Data: Data backup is very important. You may need these backups even when your phone goes dead. Backing-up your phone data may include following objects

  • Contacts and numbers
  • Short Messages
  • Emails
  • Files (on Phone storage and Memory stick)
  • Calendar events

Don't Keep Any Personal Files / Information In Cell Phone Memory: Be sure, that the information/files in your cell phone memory are not personal or of any confidential nature. We often keep our family photographs, movies, recorded voice conversations, account information sent to us by a friend through SMS, Debit Card PIN number in contacts and so on… DO NOT KEEP SUCH INFORMATION IN CELL PHONE. Consider following below steps

  • Upload Photos/videos to your PC or burn them on a CD instead of keeping them in phone. This, at times, is ignored; we keep our voice conversation/videos of intense confidential nature in our phone's memory. These files are on the edge of exposure if your cell phone is theft or even in case loose your cell phone, and can be mishandled by the thieves or any one who finds your phone.
  • Note down important information from text messages (SMS) and delete them immediately
  • Try not saving your PIN numbers in contacts, or if you can't resist doing that, give them some dummy names, such as Manager Askari Bank, and store your PIN as 03004005689…where the 5689 is the PIN number that you wanted to store
  • Make it a habit to remove all un-necessary messages from your inbox on weekly basis. You can store/backup your messages on your PC before permanently deleting from your cell phone. SMS messages can help identifying your relation with the sender/recipient's number, hence this may cause identity theft
  • Try locking your folders, phones by entering security codes, given that your phone supports this feature. It can be a handy feature, but make sure that this is not the ultimate protection, many software are available that can unlock your folders and other access of your phone.

How To Minimize the Chances For Phone Theft: Although, these theft incidents happens at once, and no one can plan due to the severe situation that arises when a cell phone snatcher is standing before you with a gun and asking you for mobile phone and your valet etc…however, adopting following things may lead you to some better results

  • Put your phone in Phone Casing, that is likely to be attached with your bag or belt; try not holding your phone in hands all the times. You can easily forget your mobile phone if it's in your hands.
  • Many of mobile phone users keep multiple handsets with them, in such case, if you are before a snatcher with a gun in his hand, try exposing your relatively low cost phone. For this purpose, making a master phone and other as secondly phone can be helpful.
  • Don't leave your phone on car's dashboard, especially when you side windows are down.

PTA's IMEI: PTA Chairman, Maj. Gen (R) Shahzada Alam Malik, on May 17th, 2008 said that Pakistan Telecommunication Authority is blocking almost 400 snatched handsets daily. If you want to get benefited of this service, try following things…

How To Get Your IMEI Number: Make sure that you have noted your phone's IMEI number, so you may re-produce it to PTA in order to get your phone blocked. You can get IMEI number of your phone by entering *#06# into any GSM based cell phone. You can also get IMEI number from the back of your cell phone's packing that came with, when you had purchased.

How To Report:

  • You can report your stolen phone with IMEI, by calling Police at 15
  • Call at PTA's toll free number 0800-25625
  • Call CPLC (Citizen Police Liaison Committee) Tel: 021-5682222, Fax: 021-5683336 website:
  • Email PTA

What To Provide

  • IMEI Number of your stolen cell phone
  • Cell Phone number
  • Name
  • National ID Card Number
  • Address and contact Number

However, PTA's IMEI based blocking system is not ultimate protection as well. This way you are not going to get back your cell phone, however, the snatcher may not use your cell phone for any service. Still he/she will be able to access your data (contacts, files, text messages).
